How is a landscape video converted to portrait?
The tool crops the center of the picture to the selected aspect ratio. This removes the outer area; it does not extend the scene or intelligently follow a person moving around the frame.
Will rotation or cropping remove the soundtrack?
The soundtrack is retained when present and encoded for the MP4 output. Rotation, mirroring and cropping require exporting new video frames.
Can I process large files on a phone?
Modern browsers are supported. Combined inputs are limited to 300 MB on desktop and 100 MB on phones or low-memory devices, with lower default output resolution. Merge up to 8 clips. Short clips work best; transitions, compression and conversion can take time.
