PNG or JPEG for a video cover?

PNG avoids additional lossy image compression and suits text or interface screenshots. JPEG is usually smaller for photographic scenes. Neither option increases the detail in the source frame.

Can I capture a frame from a MOV file?

Only if your browser can decode its video codec. If a MOV file cannot be previewed, convert it to a compatible H.264 MP4 before extracting a frame.

Can I process large files on a phone?

Modern browsers are supported. Combined inputs are limited to 300 MB on desktop and 100 MB on phones or low-memory devices, with lower default output resolution. Merge up to 8 clips. Short clips work best; transitions, compression and conversion can take time.
