Processing and output

Precise mode re-encodes the clip; fast mode can start at a nearby keyframe.

Does my video get uploaded?

No. Selected video, audio, subtitles and fonts are processed in this browser. They are not submitted to a video processing server.

What settings does Video Trimmer offer?

Precise mode re-encodes the clip; fast mode can start at a nearby keyframe.

What is the difference between precise and fast trimming?

Precise trimming re-encodes the requested segment. Fast trimming copies encoded streams, which can make the start move to a nearby keyframe. Use precise mode when the exact opening frame matters.

Does trimming crop the picture?

No. Trimming changes the start and end time. Cropping changes the visible area of each frame and is available in the rotate, flip and crop tool.

Can I process large files on a phone?

Modern browsers are supported. Combined inputs are limited to 300 MB on desktop and 100 MB on phones or low-memory devices, with lower default output resolution. Merge up to 8 clips. Short clips work best; transitions, compression and conversion can take time.
